Specimen collection @ TRIGA-S
In the area of medical research and performance evaluation, samples are invaluable. They provide raw material to investigate diseases, to develop treatment and to assess the performance of medical devices in clinical and analytical performance studies.
- Fresh samples: these samples are collected directly from patients or apparently healthy subjects
- Archived / Leftover samples: these samples have been stored for future use, either because they are not immediately used or because they are residual leftover material from routine investigations.
- Artificial samples: these are synthetic samples that often constitute of a negative matrix that mimics a natural sample and that are modified (e.g. spiked) with the analytes of interest.
TRIGA-S can support you defining, identifying and collecting the needed samples. We rely on our cooperation partner consisting of clinics, sample vendors, sample donation centers.
